I don't know if that's possible (I'll watch for other replies), but I do it by selecting the Podcasts I want to delete, then pressing the "Delete" key followed by the "M" key (...

That would explain why some of the numbers were "changed": Mathematica was multiplying together consecutive elements of the lists where I had omitted the comma. FPC 2.0.2 Win32 Console Application and GetOpenFileName() Dialog
I have a console application that uses GetOpenFileName() to allow the user to choose a file to open. The first time I call GetOpenFileName(), the File Open Dialog does not show up until I Right-Click on the Task Bar button for the application or Press ALT-TAB. After the first call to GetOpenFileName(), any additional calls work perfectly. The File Open Dialog opens up on top of the Console window and accepts input as it should. Any insight as to a solution would be appreciated. On 2006-02-17, kevin d <ktd@inebraska.com> wrote: > I have a console application that uses GetOpenFile...

Since moving to 9.2.2, progress bars don't
I recently moved up to a beige G3 desktop with OS 9.2.2. Since doing so, the progress bars in several programs don't work. As soon as the window opens, the bar is completely filled in and doesn't change. As a result they're useless. This happens in the Finder, iTunes, and MT-Newswatcher, to name just a few. Any ideas what the problem is? TIA -- D.F. Manno | dfm2a3l0t2@spymac.com "As democracy is perfected, the office represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. Peculiar behavior of linux(Linux 2.6.9-42.0.2.EL) tar when moved to xp
I have a cvs repository on linux that I'm moving to xp. When I tar up the files with tar -cvf they seem to be fine. If I do a -tvf on the tar it likewise appears as I would expect it to. When I view the tar file using Winzip or larc a few of the files in the tar seem to have been renamed. These files are mostly java files or xml but the file type doesn't seem to matter. The names change from "filename.java,v" to "filename.java,v0000444". This is consistent though the selection of the files that seem to be renamed is apparently random. Has anyone seen anything...

Print 2-up without all of the space
I know how to print a 5.5 x 8.5 booklet two up on an 8.5 x 11 sheet. The problem is it literally takes the printed output -- extra space and all -- and sticks it on the page. Is there a way I can tell Acrobat to print on half-size pages so the printer will print 2-up correctly? Printing multiple up on a sheet is called imposition - a very common function in the printing industry. Mail: deletions from Inbox not in Trash
I use Apple's Mail.app and wonder if anyone knows how to correct an annoying behavior. When I delete a message from any mailbox EXCEPT my Inbox, it goes in the Trash, where it stays for a month per the Mail Preference I have set in Accounts/Mailbox Behaviors. In that same option, I have checked the box for "Move deleted messages to the Trash mailbox" -- yet they are not there. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Someone else had a similar problem back in 2004, but no one responded and he never figured it out (per a private email). Thanks for any help. Martin ...

ruby gtk dialog #2
Hi. I'm writing this just as i'm about to implode - (really really tired) ok basically, I have a Gtk::TreeView which is nicely displaying a tree for me. I want to be able to edit the data in each row. The way thought of doing this was to use a Gtk::Dialog with an editable TextView. This is because i need it to edit multiple line text. Now, I can't for the life of me figure out how to use this thing; def edit_row dialog = Gtk::Dialog.new('Edit', @window['window'], Gtk::Dialog::MODAL | Gtk::Dialog::DESTROY_WITH_PARENT, ...

dovecot, delete to trash on the server
Hi, I'd like to move deleted emails in a specific thrash folder, i'm using imap and maildir format. It looks like the outlook client cannot handle this simple task, therefore I'm creating a workaround on the server side. My idea is to create a cronjob that every 10 minutes or so looks for email files with the "T" flag, and move them to the desired folder. This approach should work, but i guess the index files will be screwed... Is it a good approach? Any alternative solution? Thanks in advance, Matteo "MatB" <matteo.brusa@gmail.com> wrote > I'...
