I am running Windows XP using Boot Camp 1.4 on a MacBook Pro. The fan
runs all the time and the MacBook is hot. I rebooted and there are no
user applications running. The processor is running at about 64% and
the "System Idle" process takes up ~70% of the processor, but MS claims
that is normal.
Has anyone else had this problem? I am uncomfortable leaving the thing
running this hot 24/7. The only option appears to be to put it to
sleep manually.
I have ran Kapersky virus scan and it finds nothing amiss.
