mail address problem?

  • Follow

Hi,

I am not sure what the proper definition is for this but here is my problem.

I have a name I type in one of the fields, say: vern and has an address

My mail knows who is supposed to be vern, but it all shows a bogus name
for just: ve

How do I get mail to ignore ve?

Thanks in advance.

I have no idea what you are talking about. How do you enter the name and
address? You said you type a name into one of the fields, but which
field in which application?

If you mean the auto-completion in the address fields completing to
names you don't like: This info is taken from your Address Book and from
the Previous Recipients list. The latter you'll find in the Windows
menu. You can delete individual addresses there.

That took care of it! I went through my address book, and went through
everything I thought was relevant in mail. Thanks for your help!
