I've used a web page auto-refresh add-on in Firefox, but don't see many for
Safari 5.x.
There is "Tab Reloader" but it's got no reviews that I can find.
Anybody have EXPERIENCE with such an add-on that they can RECOMMEND?
Thanks.

Is a browser addon that does such a simple thing really worth getting
recommendations on before trying? You'll soon know if it works or not.

It's valuable to know if someone is using a product I've not yet found.

Yes. If you can't imagine for yourself what situation might call for this,
it's useless explaining.
(Don't know why I bother, but... "If you can't offer an answer *to the

I sincerely doubt that. But it's true I can think of no personal use
for it. Wait--Perhaps a handicapped user? But surely that wouldn't
involve a useless explanation…

Not everyone is aware of every hot key available. You might have been
one of those people. Traumatically--you weren't.
My deepest apologies for not providing you the answer you needed. If I
note your login in the future I promise not to attempt aid--it might
send you into a spiral from which you'd never recover.

Nope, but it is handy for server status pages and the like - you can
just switch and see at a glance. Waiting for the page to manually reload
takes serveral seconds.

Once-in-a-while is doable. But if you need to keep a constant eye on the
page, reloading every time you look at it is a royal pain.

Write a Javascript function that refreshes the current page in a loop
with a delay
Write a web page with one link the calls the Javascript (put the
Javascript inline, i.e., inside the ling)
View your page.
Drag the link into your bookmarks bar.
Go to your other page and click that bookmark.

Indeed - those seconds add up over the day, especially for something you
keep an eye on for the whole day.
