For all OS 9 lovers of BBEdit Lite who now have Panther ... good news!
BBEdit Lite for OS X does exist, but it's hard to find. Here's how:
1) Go to http://www.barebones.com/products/textwrangler/vs_Lite.shtml
2) look at the bottom of that page for the download link

Taking a few seconds at Versiontracker will find it, too:
<http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/604>
Links to a disk image with both Classic and OS X versions. The first
comment specifically talks about Panther.

Have no cash to buy a building? You not have to worry, just because that is achievable to take the loans to solve such kind of problems. Hence take a short term loan to buy everything you want.

The message got through what has been an impenetrable filter for over a
year. I thought it might represent a new wrinkle in getting around
filters and would like to know what to do about it.

You could start by reading the headers of the message. Some choice
tidbits are:
X-Usenet-Provider: http://www.giganews.com
X-Complaints-To: abuse@giganews.com
The obvious thing to do seems to be to contact Giganews and report this
to them. A quick look at their web site shows the Giganews Acceptable
Use Policy, here:
http://www.giganews.com/legal/aup.html
At the very bottom of that page are instructions for contacting them
regarding such abuse of their system.
Hopefully, armed with this information, you won't feel the need to
repost spam messages to this lovely news group again. : )

Actually BBEdit Lite was discontinued several years ago.
Its replacement by the same Company is: TextWrangler
I have that and it actually much better than BBEdit Lite.
BBEdit is still around it’s a for pay item. But it the Lincoln
Continental of Plain Text editing. If one has the smarts they can even
use BBEdit to write Webpages by the seat of you pants. Nothing is no
better for what it can do.

Actually eh? Better in more respects than the modern BBEdit is
better than the older BBEdit? No, I know, you don't understand
the question. You probably don't even understand what *quite* you
meant beyond that many things in Mac apps have improved over
time.

You poor schmuck, writing sentences like the above! You have
almost no idea what you are talking about, beyond a few vague
half-hearted quarter truths.
Phillip, I don't suppose you would consider using a PC, I don't
feel comfortable sharing the Mac world with you. If I paid you,
would you piss off?

And when I am not, where are you? Nowhere to be seen! Go on, join
this idiot poster and say something stupid like him now.
Your sole interest seems to be to watch out, snip all context and
just insult in the usual unintelligent way that so many of you
remnants of TBG do. There were logical things, you failed to see
them, you failed to see the insults that poster has been pouring
on me and now you join him in his stupidity and go further trying
to make out like some incredible ethical Mr. High and Mighty.

The original post to which I replied mad no mention being Spam.
The fact of the Matter whether Spam or not BBEdit as been discontinued
for years. TextWrangler is its replacement. BBEdit is the For Pay
Version. And is so goo it can be used to write web pages for those that
can and want that way. There is nothing better for what it will do.

That is untrue. Everything in the universe besides God has the
capacity to change. Just a minute... You are not suggesting...
no... surely not! No, Phillip, that is too high and mighty a view
of me. I am just a lower being, very low indeed.

It didn't announce itself as SPAM, but it seemed obvious to me that it
was. Since it had gotten past the usually efficient albasani.net filter,
I thought it merited a warning. I just skip over SPAM in less well
protected newsgroups.
I may have been overzealous, as I am hot under the collar, recently
trying to wake up the moderator of an infested mail group I belong to.
