Deleted file recovery..
I recently deleted some files which I need back. Not urgently but I can
use them. All I've found are 2 (highly rated) but costly programs. Is there
a freeware or donate program around?
Thanks for any help....

I'm not aware of any. Also note that if you don't have a backup, the
chances of recovery rapidly diminish with the length of time you've
continued to use your Mac afterwards.

If you had a backup disk, this wouldn't have happened. So you would do
well to spend some time working on obtaining a backup disk so that you
can set up Apple's built-in backup software, Time Machine, to back your
computer up automatically.

I do backup with Time Machine, but don't have it connected all the time.
This was one of those times.
Thanks for the responses. I guess I'll have to buy one of them. I ran
their demo and most of the files are still there. I'm amazed that there
isn't an open source for this type of thing. Indeed, that there are only 2
really rated pay programs.
Thanks again...
