mail.app --> wordwrap

  • Follow

I like sending plain text email messages [ as God intended ;-) ]

In Mail.app is there a way to "highlight" text and wrap it around col 70-72
(similar to a Ctrl-J in pico) in the composition window? I believe that
mail.app wraps the text, based on preference settings, when the mail is
actually sent. I would like to wrap it before it is sent so I can see the
line formating.

There is a utility called SmartWrap. It installs in the Services menu.
