Mac OS X server #2

Aloha,

I'm not sure if this is the right group to post this to, but nobody seems to
be able to answer this question. I can not seem to configure Apache to do
CGI on two different computers. For know I'm focusing on just one. I keep
getting internal error message. Checking the error log says premature end of
script header. I also can not get SSI to work.

If any one understands Apache on Mac OS X could you please help me? I have
more details of the problem at:

http://joeguillaume.com/Misc/Joe's%20Test%20Page.html

On your script you have:

    #!/usr/bin/perl/

Notice that trailing /? If you try to run your script from the command
like you get the following error: "-bash: ./script.pl: /usr/bin/perl/:
bad interpreter: Not a directory." So you script is failing because you
specified a nonexistent directory to be the interpreter... Deleting the
trailing / and everything should work.

If you're using the actual Server edition of OS X, their is a mailing
list which would be a good source of help:

<http://www.lists.apple.com/mailman/listinfo/macos-x-server>

Postings are archived, and the archives are searchable (after a fashion)
without being a subscriber (or at least, they were when I was looking
for OS X Server information).

If you make it e.g. 500, then you can only load a maximum of 500 records. To increase this in future, you would need to reco...

[Troll!] Vista more stable than Mac!
I'm simply not going to comment on this one! QUOTE:- Microsoft's partner group manager Simon Aldous told PCR: One of the things that people say an awful lot about the Apple Mac is that the OS is fantastic, that it's very graphical and easy to use. What we've tried to do with Windows 7 - whether it's traditional format or in a touch format - is create a Mac look and feel in terms of graphics. We've significantly improved the graphical user interface, but it's built on that very stable core Vista technology, which is far more stable than the current Mac platform...

Won't Boot! How do I make a OS X back-up BOOTABLE? Both drives are Firewire. I just backed-up my OS X drive to a larger, newer drive that I will be using from now on. Now it won't boot. All the files are there, but no go. How do I make my new copy of my OS X drive boot up? I heard there may be bootability problems when you back up a drive - so how do I fix this? Accounting Software for Mac
I'm a longtime Quickbooks Pro (Windows) user and am now also using QBP for Mac. Started with 5.0 which was awful and bought the upgrade to 6.0 thinking they'd finally included the features that QBP for Windows has. They added 2 whopping features but nothing else. For some reason QBP for Mac only has about 50% of the features that QBP for Windows does and its driving me insane. Why such a difference between the two platforms yet the cost is the same? Intuit surely doesn't tell you in advance that the exact same program is as different as night & day between the two platforms...

1024 x 768 on a 19" LCD question
My wife is having some trouble reading the screen on a 17" CRT @ 1024 x 768. (No, it's not her glasses. She has a brand new prescription just for the computer.) She loves the 1024 x 768 setting, so the solution sounds like a larger screen. Are there any 19" LCD monitors that do a GOOD job @ 1024 x 786? I realize the problem of non-native resolution with LCD, my laptop at work looks like crap at anything other than 1024 x 786. I'm hoping someone has solved this problem on an LCD monitor. (Or maybe someone makes a 19" with native 1024 x 768.) Bottom line: Can anyon...
