Hello all

I just wanted to let you all know that im finally making my own "Name the
Game" game about the ZX Spectrum.

And as such any criticism and ideas are welcome.

You can see the actual layout of the game at the urls:

(Portuguese Version) http://www.docaj.net/jb-ntg/jogar.php

I would love to hear from you guys what you think of this and if someone
wants to make a simple translation to their own language i will provide a
"lang file" with around 10 words to translate into your own language
(translation credits included ingame of course).

I Know the game at the moment is not a game, since it only randomly show
stuff, but i will start on that later on today and afterwards.

I just really wanted to let you know and get some feedback if possible,
because im quite excited about this idea. which will in near future have:

1) Login/register forms for users
2) Several categories included (PC, PS, XBOX, MAME) any system possible, as
long at it has games ;)
3) Ranking of users by category (same as above)
4) Prices? Yes... Im thinking about a timely price offer for the best
player. I will eventually GIVE AWAY a FREE DVD copy of World Of Spectrum
(only in the ZXSpectrum Category). will think more about this.

A vers�o portuguesa est� a dar alguns erros de MySQL e n�o me deixa 
entrar. A inglesa deixa-me escolher todas as op��es e depois nada 
acontece... WTF?

BTW, estou a usar o Mozilla e n�o o IE.

Ok. Thanks for the feedback, will install Mozilla today and try to see

Apparently what you mean by "Sorry does not work in Mozilla" is that you
cant due anything despite checking all the radio buttons, or pressing the F5
(REFRESH) to get another question.

But that's exactly how the page was placed on the webserver.

I installed Mozilla 1.7 Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US;
rv:1.7) Gecko/20040514
and the webpage appeared exactly like in Internet Explorer/Netscape.

So probably you thought that the fact that you could not do anything meant
that it was not working.

My apologies, and later on today i will place a new version of it (already
with a User/Password login) and working answering of the question posted. So
you ALL can play and check your knowledge of the ZXSpectrum games.

Thanks again for the report, and should you still be unable to see the page,
try Mozilla 1.7 RC1 (which i installed) and you should be ok.

Any reports from other browsers/systems would be appreciatted.

As I think I already posted, I think the finished version should have
an "It's Definitely Not Stonkers(tm)" button which one can use (once
per game) to skip any question one can't answer[1]. :-)

[1] Perhaps causing the game to be lost if the game screenshot in
question *is* Stonkers. :)
