NIS client Query

Hi,

I would like to know if i can add a clind in another subnet to the
nis domain(the new m/c on the different submast is able to access the
m/cs on the domain when referring throi' ips.)

I have a domain on a subnet in our setup. There is a new subnet and i
want to add the m/cs in the new subnet to the same NIS domain. is it
possible to have such a setup.

NIS

Yes, it is, so long as you tell it where the servers are - broadcast
clients won't work I think (but are stupidly insecure anyway).
