Converting PDF to Word

I have Acrobat 6.0 Professional & OfficeXP.

I need to convert many PDF documents to word documents.
One of two things (or both) happen.
1. Check boxes on the PDF creates a convert error and everything aborts.
2. All the images are messed up to where it takes forever to reformat
everything.

Is there some magic to making this application work?

You can use "pdf to word", it can help you to batch convert pdf to word
or text at one time, keeping source layout, and Standalone software, MS
Word, Adobe Acrobat and Reader NOT required! and you can get more
