Emailed PDF file appears empty ?

Hi,

I'm emailing a PDF file created by PDFFactory to a client. When he gets the
email and opens it he just gets a blank document. 70+ other clients receive
the file normally and the original opens locally OK.

What can wipe a pdf file in this way ?

If your PDF file uses PDF features, that are only present in newer PDF
versions, then an ancient PDF viewer (such as AR 3.0 or something like
that) could show such behavior.

Ask the client to update his PDF viewer. This fixes most problems.

In Firefox, having a previously open .PDF document in another window can
make the second window appear blank.

The only way around this I have found is a reboot.
