Hi,
  I want to print a large PDF file and wonder how I can select a
smaller print font.

  In viewing the file I can zoom in and zoom out, but I can not find
how to do that in printing.

  Is there a way to do that?

Some versions of Acrobat Reader or Adobe Reader have an option to
either "print selected" or "print view".

My problem is the document is 200 pages. I wonder if I can select
smaller print font so that it can print to 150 pages. Or somehow
achieve this goal.

My Lexmark printer allows me to scale the print, but it only one full
page to one smaller page, the number of pages is same.

You cannot change the number of pages. PDF files are not like Word
documents.

You should be able to print two-to-a-page (aka two-up) to a Postscript
printer, cutting the number of printed pages in half. Then use ps2pdf to
convert the ps file to a pdf.
