### Printing a single page document twice on the same page

• Email
• Follow

I have a single page PDF document that I would like to print twice on
the same page. Example: a small one page flyer that could be printed
off twice on the same page and cut in half to save paper. This is
failrly easy to do with a two page document (just print 2-up). I'd
rather not have to double the size of the pdf by recreating the single
page and making a two page document with duplicate data. Any ideas?

How to create/print document with 4 pages per page?
Hi, I would like to create a new pdf document using Acrobat v7 pro that is a conversion of my old document, with 4 pages from my old being displayed on each page of the new document. So essentially if i have a 100 page document (old), the new document would be 25 pages, with each page displaying 4 pages from the old document e.g. page 1 of the new document contains pages 1,2,3,4 from the old document page 2 of the new document contains pages 5,6,7,8 from the old document .... etc If there is a way of printing in the above fashion using Acrobat v5 (not v7), then that is also an option. replacing single page in A4 document with another page (A3), keeping bookmarks
Hello, I made a PDF document using LaTeX (dvi > ps > pdf) with paper format A4. The appendix of this document should have one big graphic. My idea is to replace this single page with an A3 landscape pdf page (because the graphic is too big to recognize something on the A4 page) But it is important that all the bookmarks remain as they are! Let's say the original document has 10 pages with bookmarks. Page 8 is the page to be replaced with the new A3 page (pdf file with one page, no bookmarks). I tried pdftk: pdftk A=docA4.pdf B=docA3.pdf cat A1-7 B A9-10 (merging pages 1-7 of docA...

How to print multiple images on single page?
Seems like this should be a simple thing to do, but somehow I'm not getting it... I'm running OS X.2.6 and Photoshop 7 on a mirrordoor G4, with an Epson Photo Stylus 1200 printer. I want to know how to: 1) print four copies of the same image on a single letter size piece of paper and 2) how to print four different images together on a single page... Seperate a single 150 Page PDF into 150 seperate documents
Hello, I thought this would be simple, but I'm having problems finding a solution. I have a 150 page PDF and I simply need to convert it into 150 seperate pages. I do have full Adobe Professional running on Windows XP Pro, but short of doing Document > Pages > Split Page 150 times I've found no auto way of doing this. I've also downloaded PDFTK but I've not seen any example showing what I'm trying to do, and reading the help hasn't given me any good starting point. Any ideas? I don't plan on spending money on a tool to do this though I know several exist,...

multiple pages of 1st report page prints
In Access '97 I have created a report page that has various labels set up and blanks for information to be written in. In addition, there are a couple of calculated fields for listing the correct date on the header. When I print this page, it prints out 7 copies of this page. I have checked the width of the various lines via the properties box, but I can't seem to solve the problem. Thanks for any help with this. Carroll Iorg Carroll. Have a look at the report's recordsource. Maybe this will explain your problem? -- Hope this helps Arno R "Carroll Iorg" <carr...

Printing From Pages
It seems that if you select "Print" when using Pages that the options to print only a single page and/or to print multiple copies are not available unless you select "Preview" from the Print dialog and then from Preview select the desired options. Why you just can't do this directly in the Print dialog has me somewhat boggled. -- James Leo Ryan --- Austin, Texas --- taliesinsoft@me.com In article <0001HW.C75139E10002373CB02A89BF@News.Individual.NET>, TaliesinSoft <taliesinsoft@me.com> wrote: > It seems that if you select "Print&...

Printing certain pages
Hello, Could I get an update? I would like to have some buttons linked to scripts Print page 1 Print page 2 etc I had thought that if a print step is run with the particular page only printing and then a print step is added to a script that it will save the page number. Now, upon checking, I'm not so sure. Tried the Go to page step prior to the print step but the print step does not seem to be influenced by that. Print Setup appears to only store orientation, quality etc w/out page numbers. I think some users would rather not see their print dialog. Any thoughts? Thanks much, Bill/W98/FMP...

Ok, so this is not a JavaScript question but please help me if you can anyway !! I need to print some pages from my site. The printed page should have headers and footers and I am looking for a property or something that I can set perhaps in CSS to do this. I know about the media class for CSS and am using this to make the printed page different from the webpage but I really don't fancy having to physically insert the page headers. Is there someway I can do this ? Zoe Zoe Brown wrote: > Ok, so this is not a JavaScript question but please help me if you can > anyway !! ...

Not all pages will print
I am using Pagemaker 7 and running Windows 2000. The printer is a Xerox Phaser 8200DP connected via USB with the latest ppd files from Xerox and Adobe. The document is a four page duplex. When I print to my HP LaserJet 1300 (on LPT1) all four pages print (four separate pages; no duplex of course). But when we print to the Xerox, regardless of the ppd we choose, only the first two pages print. We have other multipage documents that print without any problems. We have even tried creating a new document and copying/pasting the information from the original to the new. Same results. Help! ...

Printing part of a page

Print / page dimensions
I'm in the process of building an "Internet Explorer" specific based Intranet site. One of the requirements is to print a footer at the bottom of each page when they print out a particular document. Any way to access the client's page dimensions as observed when you click "print preview" ? It'd be nice to obtain at least the page "height" sans the header / footer area. The best I could do, with a lot of trial and error, is get a pixel height that seems to work in most of our user's environments. Although sometimes you're left with more "...

Printing Bookmarked Pages
Hello, I am looking for a way to automatically print all the pages that are bookmarked in a pdf file (I have the professional version 7). I found some JScripts that print the bookmark tree, but not the pages from the document. Basically, I am highlighting important sections in pages of a large document and bookmarking those pages. Now I would like to print only the bookmarked pages that contain the info that I highlighted. Is this possible to do (I am not a programmer), or do I need to manually go from bookmark to bookmark and print the page? Thanks in advance! - Li This Abobe-JS will d...

Custom Taglib problems
Hi, What is the correct expected behaviour when using a taglib regarding how many objects are created per page/application? More clearly, I created a custom tag (call it MyCustomTag) lib and am using it in a JSP page - I expected that for each request a new instance of the MyCustomTag class would be instantiated and all its instance variables would be initialized. However only one instance is being created (for multiple requests from different clients) and is being 'shared' between multiple pages (it seems to be a single instance used application wide). How do I force a single inst...

Always printing at the bottom of a page???
Hi! Every day we print a set of reports (100's). They come in various lengths (they are all standarized, but some fills the entire page, while others just fills up the top half of the page. Could anyone please help me with a Postscript code that does the following: Cuts the margin on the bottom of the page (so that it prints at the very end of each sheet) and ensures that I allways ends up printing at the very end of each sheet. (So I want a code that in stead of printing from the top and stops halfway down the page, starts halfway down the page and ends at the very bottom of the page....
