Printing pdf with acrord32 from windows command line

  • Follow

Hi,

when I use the default windows printer the syntax is like:
acrord32 /p /h c:/test/test.pdf

but what is the syntax when I want to choose a printer (in the network) when
calling acrord32.exe?

Thanks
Jens

acrord32.exe /h /t pdfpath printername drivername portname

In Reader 6 and earlier this would start reader, print the PDF then exit
Reader. The "/h" would tell it to be "hidden", which they interpreted as
"don't show the main frame but show it in the task bar".

In Reader 7 this starts reader, prints the PDF then leaves Reader loaded
with the file still loaded. Also the "/h" does not seem to do anything.
Reader comes up with its full user interface.
