Re: Converting PDF files to Excel? Not in Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Pro!!!
1-choose Hand Tool
2-select your text
3-"Hover" slowly on the selection with your mouce
4-After a while, a "T" icon appears on the spot where your mouse is located and a drop down menu appears giving you the options of:
---copy as a table
---save as a table or
---open table in spreadsheet
Done!!!!!!!!!

Well, the 'hovering' seems to be the key. A friend finally showed me
how to do this. Mark's description is complete and accurate. But I
could have followed the Adobe instructions till Kingdom Come without
finding out how it worked! They didn't mention the long pauses for the
little square to appear, not the fact that the 'copy as table'
ultimately appears automatically. Instead they talk about using
CTR-Click, which seems unnecessary. ABBYY still works better - but its
nice to have found out how to do this. Thanks all.
