Is there any known way to rename bookmarks in an html document from
either JAVA, or a linux command line. I have looked at iText and a few
other tools, but can't seem to find a way to do this. For example, if
my bookmarks were:
1
2
3
4
I'd like to rename to:
Bob
Sarah
Harry
Jim
Any ideas?

FyTek's PDF Meld: http://www.fytek.com/products.php?pg=pdfmeld
Allows you to export existing bookmarks, make changes, then load them in.
Or just start your bookmarks from scratch and load them in.
