strange boxes showing up when view pdf docs
I have a library of pdf documents that were all created using
activepdf's doc converter. I've been able to view these
docs using acrobat reader version 4 & 5. After upgrading to version
6, I suddenly see strange boxes behind the first letter of most
words. Everything else seems to be ok. The boxes do not
show up when printing.
Any ideas on how to fix? I really don't want to go back to the
older version of the reader if I don't have to.
Thanks,
Rich

I haven't contacted activepdf. A fix on the activepdf side of things
would only potentially fix my problem going forward. However,
I have thousands of documents already translated (this is a document
server) so I need to find out if there is a fix on the pdf viewer side
of things. As I mentioned, viewing was fine before I upgraded.

If ActivePDF made faulty PDFs, I'd like to think they had a moral
obligation (if not legal) to provide a way to fix them. Of course, we
don't know they are faulty, which is why you should ask them.
