Using Acrobat 5.0 - A way to "force" the Reader to open a PDF with the Bookmarks showing?
In the design of a pdf using Acrobat 5.0, is there a way to guarantee
that the document will open with the bookmarks showing when it is
displayed in the Reader? (I don't want to have to accompany the file
with instructions to the user on how to first open the Navigation Pane
and then select the "Bookmarks" tab.) I've searched the Help files,
and haven't discovered anything about this.
TIA

Set the options you want and resave the file.
If you are making PDFs from Word, using PDFMaker, you can fiddle with
the conversion settings to make this your default choice, too.
