Could anybody tell me how to download the following source files?

http://arxiv.org/format/math/0607607v2
http://arxiv.org/abs/math.DG/0211159

Because it appears impossible, I always get a corrupted file.

Works fine for me. The first source downloads as a TAR archive
(with the somewhat odd name '0607607v2'), the second as a latex
source file (with name '0211159').

For some reason, and depending on OS and browser, arXiv does not always 
appened a .tar extension to the source file.

If you're on OS X, Linux or some other Unix then this is not a problem: 
you can open the file with tar from the command line, e.g. "tar xvf 
0607607v2".

If you prefer to stay in the GUI, you may need to manually add the .tar 
extention so that your OS recognizes the filetype and launches the 
appropriate program to open it.
