This year's prize for the best critical edition, given by the Modern
Language Association of America, went to The Collected Plays of Thomas
Middleton, edited by Gary Taylor and John Lavagnino. John Lavagnino,
members of this group may know, was among the authors of the EDMAC
format, ported into LaTeX by Peter Wilson as the ledmac package. The
Middleton edition was typeset with EDMAC.
