I do it with the wrapfig package. Here's an example that I posted
here once:

What is "text + text" supposed to do right now? It doesn't seem very useful to me. What about making "text + text" as an equivalent for "text || text"? Text wrapped around a picture -- picture longer than text
I'm trying to compose a list of items, each of which consists of text that wraps around a picture at the left margin. The examples I have seen tell me to do it like this: <p><img src="xxxx.jpg" align="left" width=nn height=nn>zzz zzzzz zz zzzzz...</p> In my case, since the wrapped text includes a headline, I assume I am supposed to do this: <div> <img src="xxxx.jpg" align="left" width=nn height=nn> <h2>yyy yy yyyyyyyyy</h2> <p>zzz zzzzz zz zzzzz...</p> </div> (In my actu...

Text from required text box to read-only text box
Hello, I am fairly new to JavaScript and its use in Acrobat Professional. My situation is this: I have a form with a text box field which is required for the user to enter his/her name. I would like the required text box to display the name in all caps. I also need the user's name to appear in a read-only text box later in the form, which I would like to have the first letter of the user's first, middle initial, and last names to be capitalized. I would also like to have all required fields on the form highlighted in yellow, but the highlighting not printed. Lastly, I would like the...

Surrounding text with text

LaTeX: absolute position of text boxes + wrap around
Hi, I have been trying to reproduce something that is very easy to do in, say, OpenOffice, but which is giving me headaches in LaTeX. I would like to create what OOo calls a "frame", that is a page (with or without borders) within a page, placed with absolute coordinates, and around which the background text wraps. I see lots of these in "modern" textbooks, where they are used for additional info, tips, "Did you know" kind of things. Of course it's always possible to make them take the whole width of the page, or put them in the margins, but I was curious about how to achieve this particular thing. Exaggerated example: http://noe.falzon.free.fr/ooo.pdf Now I went through dozens of packages' documentations, and managed to find ways to: 1. wrap text around floats (eg. with the wrapfig or floatflt packages) 2. do absolute placement of text boxes (eg. with the textpos package) Both problems are quite well documented. However, I haven't been able to find a single information about combining them. I read several times that LaTeX is not really meant to do this kind of "wrapping around", so I don't have much hope about this, but in case anyone has a clue... Thanks, N. ...

Fit text in a Text Box

But the box's size is fixed, so I just can modify the size's letter. How can I be right with letter's size, if I dont know the lenght of string (text)? Is there any simple function for this case? Selecting text in a text box
