We have a AIX5.1.5 machine. Root logged on through CDE. I saw a lot of
error messages saying that it failed when the system tried to start
the screen locking program. So there are a lot of zombie processes on
the system and we can not do anything, even existing the CDE or
rebooting the system. Does anybody know what might cause the problem?
Is there a way to gracefully reboot the machine.
