I need a second hand sparc machine that is able to automatically
restart after a power failure. Please don't ask why.
I unfortunately found out that my Blade 1000 does not do this. A Ultra
10 does it, but it is a little bit slow for my intended purpose.
How about the U60 or the server rack mount systems?

On blade 1000 try
setenv auto-boot? true
at openboot (ok) prompt.
Then should not stop at ok prompt again (except for init 0).

This is usually an option in OBP. There's a variable called something
like "autoboot?". If this is set to "yes" the machine will boot
automatically following the Power On Self Test. If it's set to "no" the
machine will wait for a boot command.
So set "autoboot?" to the appropriate value and save yourself some money!
