CDROM drive in single user mode
Hi,
In Solaris 10, how to make CDROM drive available in single user mode?
There is no problem to the cdrom drive. I can boot using the command
"boot cdrom" from OK prompt. If I used "boot -s"; cdrom is not
available after it booted into single user mode.
Not sure it is due to smserver? When I checked smserver; it is
disabled. I ran "svcadm enable smserver" but still not able to enable
it and there is no error msg.
Thanks in advance.

I think you need to enable the autofs service by typing:
svcadm enable autofs

I think you mean "devfsadm".
The problem is far more likely that volmgt is not running and the CDROM
isn't being automounted. Best to check if the volfs service is running,
or - depending on the age of the Solaris - rmvolmgr.

I did! Sorry about that. My notions about spelling/misspelling don't
always agree with those of the developers!
