Hi everybody,
New to Solaris. Just installed it as the second OS to XP on my AMD laptop.
The installation was a breeze, but the configuring of the Display was a pain
in the ass. Anyway, snooped around, asked questions and found a miracle -
portking. Anyway NEXT PROBLEM:
I need to connect to the internet, through dialup. Modem is inbuilt. Any
leads? Any weblinks to get me started?
Appreciate it.

Your subject line is inconsistent. You want serial port modem
information, look here:
http://www.stokely.com/unix.serial.port.resources/index.html
But if that modem is a winmodem you are SOL. You will need to plug in a
supported ethernet card and connect through your desktop box with either a
hub/switch or crossover cable.
