Hello Group,
I am looking for a way to check whether system accounting is running/
enabled on a Solaris 10 box or not.
I can't see it as either a process with ps -ef or as a service with
svcs -a .
Still, /var/adm/pacct keeps increasing by the second.
The startup script, /etc/init.d/acct only takes the start and stop
parameters (i.e. not status).
Any ideas about what I am missing here?
Cheers
Lollo

Start with the acct(1M) man page and the `System Administration Guide:
Basic Administration' document from docs.sun.com .
