Try Live Upgrade, you should be able to create a new BE on UFS.

If you have an extra disk, format it as UFS. Use cp to copy the files
from the ZFS disk to the UFS disk.
What problem are you trying to solve?? I have heard no complaints about
ZFS and AFAIK, it works as well as or better than UFS.
