Installing patch: how long should it take?
Hi,
I'm installing patch 119810-05 but it is taking a very long time to
install now, so I'm wondering if the installation goes ok. HW: Sun Blade
2000, UltraSparc-III+, 1 GHz, 2 GB RAM. How long should the installation
last?
Thanks.

The patchadd command took 51 seconds on my Blade 2000 (900 MHz, 1 GB RAM).

Anyway not longer than a few minutes.
Please make sure, that your temp directories do not contain 1000s of files.

Installed it in very short time using pca. Don't know why Update Manager
takes so long with a number of updates.
