Maybe we should just get the job for you and send you the money?

What do you mean "interview questions"?

Any of us could do so. I hope that no one here will do so.

Get a book. There are a dozen or so. Get a copy of Solaris and a
machine to install it on. Install Solaris. Learn how to configure it.
Learn how to make a backup copy of your file systems. Learn how to
restore your file systems after you've just done something really
stupid. Etc, etc.

You will need a minimum of two machines, three would be better. If
possible, get at least one SPARC box and one X86 box. Install Solaris
on both. Configure NFS. Etc, etc.

There is a certification program. You have to pass written and
practical examinations. That, alone, will get you almost nowhere!
Somebody *nmight* hire you as an operator under close supervision!

Potential employers will take you much more seriously when you have some
practical experience. DON'T TRY TO FAKE IT. You will be found out and
will have difficulty finding ANY other job.

Here's my first one for you:

Discuss how you might convert a file to PDF format, starting from a
variety of other human readable and image file formats you might come
across as a sysadmin or a user.
