Hey all;
We're starting to use link aggregation in our environment, and creating
the aggregations with dladm.
Lo and behold, the information is stored in /etc/aggregation.conf, which
is a good ol' flat file, but has a dire warning at the top: "DO NOT EDIT
THIS FILE DIRECTLY!!! USE DLADM OR THE UNIVERSE WILL COLLAPSE!!!" Well,
not _quite_ but something along those lines.
The question I have is, is there any reason not to create this file by hand?
Does dladm do anything besides put an entry in this file when creating a
link aggregation?
Thanks,
Colin
