Netbackup, and pending requests
I have an E10k domain with 16 DLT7000 tape drives attached to it in a
TL11000 tapestore.
Regardless, i'm trying to backup a significant amount of data, and i
see where it has put tapes in about 5-6 drives, and it hasn't touched
the other ones. I have 8 or so pending requests.
Is there any quick reasoning of why the pending requests aren't being
processed since there are 10 tape drives still available.
All of the drives are under the robot's control, so i don't think
that's the issue.
Any help?
Daniel

Netbackup is a fairly complex piece of software. If you have a support
contract on it, I would open a call with Veritas and ask them for help.
In addition there's a mailing list for Netbackup administrators. You
can find information on it and past archives at
http://mailman.eng.auburn.edu/mailman/listinfo/veritas-bu/
Good luck!
