Hi all !

Just Bought a new Sun Fire V 250 . Moving from my old Ultra 10 Solaris 7
to solaris 9 Generic_117171-11.


Does Password aging does not work with NIS ?Does it warn the users ?
Did some of you test it already ?

Password aging really isn't supported by NIS portably.  However, on an all
Sun environment, you could use an alternative (NIS+ ick, LDAP).. or
you could even attempt to push a shadow map and then you might get aging
to work for you (again.. ONLY in an all Sun environment).

I haven't tried it though... we're a mixed OS shop.
