I am trying to install one of my solaris 10 zone to be an NIS slave,
and later master.
I am not able to run the make command without some issues.
I have copied the yp source from my old nis master to this one. The
old one was running version 10.8. This one is version 10.10
Can someone point me the right way?
Thanks!

If you said what "some issues" are, we might.

The kind of issues I am having are:
When I run make, it hangs after updated netgroup
When I run make -d I get the following:
Rejecting impossible implicit prerequisite `Makefile.c` same for
Makefile. (cc, C, cp,p,f,F,r,s,S,mod)
Thanks

OK< I have ran the ypinit -m command with no errors.
Now when I run ypcat passwd or anything, I get the following:
no such map in server's domain.
Does anyone have any ideas?

So you've done a 'ypinit -s <master>' in the zone or something else?

Make where? You shouldn't be running make on a slave...

So you're trying to make it an NIS master now (not a slave)? In that
case did you run 'ypinit -m'? Were there any errors?
