Patches not installed
Hi all,
I installed the last patche provided by Sun for Solaris 8 (SunFire V120) :
Patche file : 8_Recommended.zip (Recommended Patch Cluster)
This package include 177 patches.
My servers are :
sun01
sun02
sun03
sun04
All patches (or almost) was installed on sun01 and sun02 (more that 150
patches)
But on sun03 and sun04, only the first and second patche was installed !!
I don't have error message on patche log file. The log file cnofirm that the
patchadd command terminated normaly.
I confirm that i have sufficient filesystem capacity.
The old release of all server is "Solaris 5.8 Generic_108528-13".
After patching the servers, On sun01 and sun02 i have new release
"Generic_117350-21" but i always have the old release on sun03 sun04 !
Any idea ?
Thank You very much for your help
Best Regards

Find the patch(es) that failed and read the log file for it/them to
start with.
What I'd like to know is if there is a patch to stop NFS clients from
using unprivileged ports.

I would not choose /tmp as the place to put 8_Recommended, but that maybe
just me?
Are you in single user mode when you apply the ./install_cluser ?
