Problems with RAID Array A1000

  • Follow

Dear Group,

Ive a problem with my SUN RAID Array A1000 on an E420R machine (Sol.
5.8) and Iam not sure whether I can solve this problem with a patch
(Ive seem somthing in the list) or with an exchange of the drives /
Array.

During the last week I received a lot of Raid Array Storage Messages
(ASC=3F ASCQ=80 LUN=00/01/02/03/04/05). Each drive reported an error
in /etc/osa/rmlog.log (see sample below). The code list (raidcode.txt)
describe to replace the drive(s).

The result of the drive check with "./drivutil -l c1t0d0" produced the
following output:

Is it possible to repair the drives or what should I do best?

Thanks in advance for any help.

What does healthck -a return?

The best idea is to fire up the rm6 GUI, run the recovery wizard and
do whatever it tells you to.

Dear Scott,

"./healthck -a" returns:

Health Check Summary Information
cl306_001: Degraded LUN at Drive [2,1];[1,2]

"./parityck -a" returns:

Scanning cl306_001:0:ABORTED - Degraded LUN
Scanning cl306_001:1:ABORTED - Degraded LUN
Scanning cl306_001:2:ABORTED - Degraded LUN
Scanning cl306_001:3:ABORTED - Degraded LUN
Scanning cl306_001:4:ABORTED - Degraded LUN

Unfortunately, I cant start the rm6 GUI. I receive always the messages:

"No definition for parameter System_RmHomeDirectory - aborting"

Many thanks in advance for your help.
