I've found posts about limitations on usable disk sizes for earlier 
machines, but not the Blade 1500.

Is it *really* limited to 120 GB drives?

Is this a boot limitation or a runtime limitation (FWIW my long departed 
3/60 would only see the first 1 GB of a 1.8 GB SCSI disk at boot time, 
but once it booted 4.1.1a it could see the entire drive.  And yes, I 
verified it didn't wraparound using dd(1) on the raw device)

Does this also apply to USB & FireWire drives?

I'll leave the long history of short sighted disk driver authors at Sun 
to another day ;-)
