I'm trying to do a remote CDE login from an Ultra 10 running Solaris 2.6 to 
a system running Solaris 8. However the screen just blanks on me and then 
returns to the local CDE login screen

I also run remote CDE login using Hummingbird Exceed and I dont have any 
problems with this.

Any suggestions?

Make sure the machine you're trying to connect to has an entry for
your mahcine in /etc/hosts (or other hosts database).

The hosts entry if fine. I can ping both m/c's by hostname from each other. 
Any other suggestions?? Are there any log files anywhere that will give a 
clue?
