Save the display of xterm or dtterm window in a log file
Hello all,
I need to be able to open a new window (using xterm or dtterm) but when the
window opens, anything displayed there, should be saved in a log file which
I want.
Does anybody know which argumnets should I use in the xterm or dtterm
command ?
Thanks in advance

What you need is the "script" command.
I also suggest you read the manual page for xterm, and scroll down to
the bit which says "turn logging on" (it also points out that only some
versions of xterm support this due to security reasons).

Hello Marcin,
Thank you very much for your help.
The script command looks just fine.
Regarding the xterm command, I looked at the manual page but I could not
find anything about "tyrn logging on"
If you have any information about this, please let me know. Otherwise, no
problem. The script command will do the work.
Thanks again !
Miltos
