solaris 10, openssl, rsa and aes256

  • Follow

Hi.

I'm trying to encrypt a rsa key with aes256 using openssl but it failed.

-bash-3.00# openssl genrsa -aes256 -out foo
SUNWcry not installed.

So I installed SUNWcryr and SUNWcry.

But openssl keep saying that SUNWcry is not installed.
What am I missing ?

Here are some more infos (not sure they are useful) :

-bash-3.00# pkginfo | grep cry
system SUNWcrman Encryption Kit On-Line Manual Pages
system SUNWcry Crypt Utilities
system SUNWcryr Solaris Root Crypto
-bash-3.00# cryptoadm list
