some chinese fonts missing
HI,
I(my wife) have problems reading chinese documents due to some signs are
missing making the whole document unreadable, this is a document from
Chinese windows and read via openoffice(eng) 1.1.2.
I also have similar problems when surfing using mozilla!
Are there any known bugs with respect to fonts in S9 12/02 with MU4
installed?
Or should I just try installing the latest S9 ala windows and hope it
works better :)

Did you include Chinese locale support when you installed the OS?
Are you logged in under a locale that supports chinese characters
(either one of the zh_* locales or a *.UTF-8 locale)?

Sorry can't remember that, do you know the name of that package?
Do you know which specific package that would be?

Just a followup on the subject, I installed S10(beta 5) and things look
great now so I just hope that nothing else breaks due to S10 :))
Thanks for the respond.
