start "X" server on netra ?

hi there,
I have managed to install Solaris 10 on a netra T105 server, and
created a non-root account. Is there something else I need to do so that
I can log in to it using the Exceed X client on my PC ?

When I browse for X servers, the machine shows up, along with the Ultra
60 on the same network, but when I try to log in, the login screen comes
up, and as soon as I enter the username and password, it just
disappears.Needless to say, the Ultra 60 works fine.

If I try to use the Ultra 60 to log in to the netra as a remote host,
the same thing happens, and I just get offered the screen to log in to
the Ultra 60.

Also, when shutting the machine down using /usr/sbin/shutdown, is there
some way to force the LOM terminal session back to a LOM prompt, so that
I can issue a "poweroff" ?

Thanks in advance

Type #. to get you from terminal session to LOM prompt.
Type console to get you from LOM prompt back to terminal session.

Sometimes it can help to point to the machine as your fontserver as
well. I haven't played with Exceed in a while to know if that's easy to
do on an XDMCP connection.

If you go to level 5 with shutdown it should power off directly.

But '#.' should take you to the LOM level. (and 'power-off' should work
at the OBP prompt.)
