TT_ERR_NO_MATCH in Solaris 5.9 exiting Exceed

  • Follow

I have been researching this error message throughout various groups.
It seems to be very common, but there hasn't been much on it since
2001; nothing since 2004, and I don't see a clear answer, mostly just
questions:

TT_ERR_NO_MATCH There is no running program to handle this message,
nor is there a static ptype to start such a program... etc.

We just updated our client to Solaris 5.9 and they started to get this
exiting the Hummingbird Exceed application.

Does anyone know the solution to this?

It's comming out of tooltalk. Do you know what it is that someone
does that triggers the message? Are your X sessions running under
dtsession and dtwm?

I don't have a solution, but it occurs to me that it might be
Hummingbird causing the problem, which simply didn't manifest itself
under the previous Solaris. It might be helpful to post its version
number, or contact their customer support if you're still on a service
plan.

Hope that helps!

I'll follow that thread too. Thanks for your input.
