Warning Message

Hi All,

I have upgraded from Solaris 10 03/05 to Solaris 10 06/06 for a V490.
My log files keeping showing following error:

/usr/lib/utmpd WARNING /var/adm/utmp exists!

/usr/sbin/pmconfig: "/etc/power.conf" line 2, unrecognized keyword "=CE
{ for this message I dont have /etc/power.conf file} So would it be a
fix if I turn the smf off for pmconfig?]

Try removing the /var/adm/utmp file; the file was obsoleted several
releases ago; if it reappears, then it means that you run an application
which is not aware that it should be using utmpx instead.

What's in power.conf?

Remove the file, it was automatically generated and that generation
may have been interrupted.
