which file has the IP address of network printers in Solaris 7?

Where is the IP address of the network printer set? I checked the /etc/hosts
and /etc/printers.conf - both did not have the IP address. Where else should
I look?

I am not sure whether I understand what you are asking, but if you use 
DNS your DN server may have this information. Try nslookup.

Try /etc/lp/interfaces/<printername>
