ZFS web gui

I am having problems starting my ZFS Web GUI. I have to start the
process manually from the Command line. There is something wrong with
the install, it should start when solaris starts.
When I start the listener manually using the command
"/usr/sbin/smcwebserver start" it appears that I am running 2
instences of the (/usr/sbin/smcwebserver). I can not connect using
url: https/localhost:6789/zfs. Can any one help me?

I dont know if you have already enabled the following service so that
webconsole starts at every reboot:

% svcadmin enable svc:/system/webconsole:console

The you will need to enable the service so that i can be accessed
remotely:

% svccfg -s svc:/system/webconsole setprop options/tcp_listen =3D true
% svcadm refresh svc:/system/webconsole

If you need more info reference the smcwebserver manual page. Also if
you are using U6 note that there is a bug with the zfs console and
having / in a zfs pool. I havent seen any patches to it yet and
desperately waiting.

Hope this helps,
edward-

Thank you for your assistance
I forgot to include the facts that I am running Solaris v10 10/08,
Java v5.0 Update 16, ZFS on an 80gig drive mounted on UFS 80 gig drive
on a Blade 100 with 11+ meg of ram on a workgroup. On an earlier
install I could access the interface with no problems but something
was wrong with ZFS and I reinstalled the solaris v10 10/08 and now I
am unable to access the Java interface. I enabled the "smcwebserver
enable" to start on every boot.
There seems to be a flaw in the Java web site. When I access the site
it tells me that I am running v5.U16 and that I should D/L version
6U11. Which I have done several times with the same results from the
web site and my local machine.
I will run the procedure you outlined, Thanks a lot.

I ran your suggested solutions and received different results, I
installed a lot of system updates and now I receive a different error
message which is "launch error, no application is registered with this
sun java web console or I don't have rights"

I feel that my problem is with the DNS configurations. I am running on
a work group "huntley TECH" I am not sure about the proper config.
