Hey :)
I'm one happy user of the nice Bespin style for KDE4, using Kubuntu 8.10.
Winter is such a dark time, so I've been using a dark color scheme for a
while, but with the sun and longer, brighter days taking over, I recently
opted for the lighter version instead.
Only thing is, I can't seem to get rid of remnants of the dark color scheme
here and there. Examples are the editor window in Kate, which is dark gray
with bright gray text, and dialog prompts such as when KWallet asks for a
password.
Choosing a style different from Bespin has no effect, neither has choosing
different color schemes, and even the configuration window in Bespin is
screwed up, colorwise.
I'm wonderin what to do. I'd love for some big, red, "reset all style and
colorsettings back to default" button to be found somewhere, but alas, no
such luck ;)
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Daniel :)

Try renaming ~/.kde4 to ~/.kde4old, logging out and back in, and starting
from scratch. Also, ~/.kde4/share/config/colors/Recent_Colors looks
interesting, though I've never played with it.
I would also delete the style that caused all the trouble.
Good luck.
