can't create the library

Hello, all

I met the problem in creating the new library from Cadence.

1. If I try to create from the CIW, the cadence tells me like:

Error* eval: unbound variable - NCSU createLibForm

2. If I try from library manager window, the cadence tells me like:

undefined function - libManCreateLib
<< Stack Trace >>
libManCreateLib("cdkCreateNewLib " "" "" "" "" ...)
(... in ddsiLMCEval ...)
(... in ddsLMCMenuItem ...)
ddsLMCMenuItem(1 "cdkCreateNewLib" "libManCreateLib" ("" "" "" "" ""))

Anyone can figure out how to solve the problem? Thanks hundreds!

-Andy

It appears you're using the venerable North Carolina State University
Cadence Design Kit created and supported by our university friends &
partners (this CDK not to be confused with the more recent Cadence
Design Systems' generic Complete Design Kit which was created in 2001
and 2002).

Toby Schaffer, Alan Glaser, Andy Stanaski, et al., performed a
fantastic service for universities in the late nineties by creating
this university environment for running the Cadence custom IC tool
suite in a well-honed custom IC flow. Since then, their NCSU CDK has
been improved and supported by a variety of university leaders at NCSU.

The current revision of the NCSU CDK is 1.5.0 (what rev are you
using?).

If you're using a recent revision, you might be able to get direct
support from the folks at NCSU (see contacts on their NCSU CDK web
page):

Good luck,
John Gianni

Well, my problem was solved by unsetting CDS_SITE. The environment
variable was originally pointed to /cds/local, in which the NCSU PDK is
there.

BTW, I really like to know why the NCSU PDK exists there. It seems that
the AMI06 or HP06 technology are always bined w/ the NCSU PDK. But
apparently, we don't use these technology. Besides, the model files of
AMI or HP are very simple. Is there any way one can get his design
fabricated by using these technology? Enlighten me pls.
