Key Responsibilities:
a.. Design and develop automated test suites for Merced core product =
on supported environments=20
b.. Analyze, document and verify system defects, enhancements and new =
features=20
c.. Develop and execute manual and automated tests at all development =
stages to verify product readiness for customer's production =
implementations=20
d.. Develop and execute manual and automated regression tests=20
e.. Identify, report and track software defects=20
f.. Validate developer-implemented resolutions to defects=20
g.. Diagnose and debug complex software issues=20
h.. Work as an integral part of the Merced development team=20
i.. Work closely with Product Management and Client Service teams=20
Requirements:
a.. 4-5 years of relevant QA experience in Web based multi-platform =
(Windows 2000, Linux, Solaris, MSSQL, Oracle) development environments=20
b.. 2 years of hands-on automation coding experience (QuickTest Pro =
preferable or similar)=20
c.. Scripting experience in Python, VBScript, Perl or other scripting =
language.=20
d.. Good knowledge of data base testing, including SQL on multiple =
platforms (MSSQL, Oracle, DB2)=20
e.. Excellent technical and analytical skills=20
f.. Excellent verbal and written communication skills=20
g.. Ability to work in a team=20
h.. Bachelor's degree in computer science (or equivalent)=20
Valuable Skills/Experience:
a.. XML, ETL, JSP, HTML=20
b.. Knowledge of Lisp/Scheme=20
c.. Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, DB2=20
d.. Experience with RT and CVS a plus=20
e.. Familiarity with testing enterprise applications for call centers =
